In the heart of the Gulf of Guinea, in Africa, there is a small center for children with severe and profound physical and intellectual disabilities. A beautiful place that tries to provide these children with the specialized and personalized attention they need to improve their quality of life. In Africa, children with disabilities (especially girls) are at high risk of physical, emotional and sexual abuse, as well as being abandoned by their families, so life on the continent is not easy for snake children. Meanwhile, for these children at the Saint Louis Orione Center in Bombouaka, it's all about football and it's all about a ball. They are all Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. It's all Madrid versus Barça... Shouting, running, European team jerseys, Champions League on TV... Football is the most popular sport on the planet. More than a game, it's a lifestyle. More and more children are dreaming of becoming the new star of the 'beautiful game' in search of their next goal.

COVID-19 CRISIS From the beginning of the year we began to hear about COVID-19 (coronavirus), although it sounded distant to us Europeans, it was Chinese, and it was not going to arrive. Punished by global warming, rising sea levels are forcing the ocean bed to readjust by removing sediments from the coast and dragging them away from shore. This causes marine erosion capable of devouring dozens of meters of mainland each year. Thousands of people have already had to leave their houses and see their children being orphaned from their homes and forced to migrate inland to prevent certain death. Many thousands more await their inexorable future. That new rising tide that takes everything away.

Вот уже почти 30 лет как дедушка Исрапил с равнины перебрался в горы, на землю своих предков, построил маленький домик, обустроился и живет в нем рядом с древними башнями. В этих башнях родились и жили его отец, дед и прадед. Совсем рядом находится сливовый сад, а сразу за ним родовое кладбище, на котором они похоронены. Дедушка Исрапил родился в 1940 году. Дедушка Исрапил как и весь Ингушский народ пережил депортацию. Раньше с ним жила его жена Таус Магомедовна, но из-за проблем со здоровьем ей пришлось переехать на равнину. У него четыре сына и четыре дочери, они приезжают к нему, чтобы помочь в тяжелом труде. За свои 78 лет он никогда не болел и не принимал лекарств. Дедушка Исрапил очень верующий человек. Рядом с его домом стоит большой камень, на котором он долгое время выбивал слова молитвы и поучения на арабском и русском языках. Каждый день он обходит башни, поддерживает чистоту на их территории. В одной из них родился его отец Бексултан. Вся его жизнь, каждый его час, каждый день состоит из молитвы, труда и почитания предков, я не помню, чтобы он сидел без дела. То ему нужно прополоть огород, то где-то прибраться, накормить скотину, наколоть дрова, сходить к башням. У него очень большой фруктовый сад, где растут яблоки, груши, алыча и слива. Он посадил его для гостей, говорит: «Будете в наших местах, приходите ко мне в гости». Дедушки Исрапила не стало осенью 2018 года. Он ушел внезапно. До сих пор в это трудно поверить. Похоронили его недалеко от старинных башен, за сливовым садом, на древнем кладбище рода Чаниевых, там, где похоронены его отец, дед и прадед. Там где земля становится небом. Через несколько месяцев у младшего сына Хамзата родился первенец, Сын Мохамед. Дедушка Исрапил мечтал увидеть его. Хамзат, самый младший из сыновей, он был с отцом до самого конца. Отец умер у него на руках. Хамзат, человек несгибаемой воли и сильного духа. Горец, жизнь которого как и жизнь всех горцев состоит из труда и молитвы.

На фотографии ветеран Великой Отечественной войны Заикин Иван Иванович. Заикин Иван Иванович Родился 5 апреля 1926 года. Место рождения: Сумская область, Лебединский район, село Малый-Бобрик (Украина). Призван добровольцем в 16 лет в 1943 году в городе Сальске Ростовской области. 11 апреля 1943 года направлен на обучение в военно-морское училище в городе Ярославле, потом переведен в город Углич, где он и окончил военно-морское училище в 1944 году. В начале апреля 1944 года в составе 83-й отдельной стрелковой Новороссийской Краснознаменной бригады морской пехоты участвовал в прорыве обороны противника при освобождении города Керчи. С 5 по 9 мая 1944 года в боях за освобождение Севастополя Иван Иванович был контужен. Катер, на котором он находился, подорвался на морской мине противника. Около месяца находился в госпитале, а после выздоровления продолжил службу матросом до 1951 года в городах Керчь и Севастополь. После службы Иван Иванович 15 лет работал на судостроительном заводе «Парижская коммуна» (Каспийское пароходство) мастером механического цеха и технологом. С 1979 года работал мастером цеха, старшим мастером цеха и начальником технического бюро на авиационном заводе города Омска. В 1990 году переехал в Ставропольский край. Награжден орденом Отечественной войны II степени, медалью «За боевые заслуги», медалью «За победу над Германией». В настоящее время Иван Иванович Заикин проживает в поселке Рыздвяный Изобильненского района Ставропольского края.

And in the American international anti-drug center claim a billion drug addicts. In Ukraine, about 150 thousand drug addicts are registered with the police, and according to WHO and UNAIDS international organizations, there are about 425 thousand injecting drug users in the country alone. According to various independent experts, from 1 to 1.5 million people use drugs in Ukraine, while their number increases by 8-10% annually. 550 thousand people use hard drugs alone, the Ministry of Health says.About a thousand people die from drug addiction in Ukraine each year, while independent experts talk about 10-12 thousand people. Nowadays the situation has become much worse. According to the State Statistics Service as January 1, 2019, there were 471,279 infected in Ukraine persons, representing 1.11% of the total population. Of these, 333,717 people (70.81%) were infected with hepatitis B -23 687 persons (5.03%) infected with hepatitis C - 82 654 persons (17.54%) and 31 221 people (6.62%) were infected with tuberculosis. The deterioration of the state in the country is associated with many factors. The way drugs are sold has changed. Recently, a method using so-called «bookmarks» has become widely popular. БОТЛИХ, МЕЖДУ НЕБОМ И ЗЕМЛЁЙ. Мой рассказ о людях на землю которых 20 лет назад пришла война и все как один встали на её защиту. Кто то с оружием в руках, кто то у печи днем и ночью пёк хлеб который раздавали ополченцам и военнослужащим пришедшим на помощь местным жителям, среди которых был и я. Все были тогда единым целым. Все делали одно дело, защищали нашу Родину. Прошло 20 лет, смотришь вокруг и не верится, что когда то здесь была война, днем и ночью слышались разрывы снарядов...погибали люди. Я вернулся сюда спустя 20 лет, в Ботлихский район республики Дагестан и мне захотелось рассказать об этих гостеприимных, добрых, мужественных людях-горцах чья жизнь состоит из труда, молитвы и почитания предков. А еще эти люди трепетно хранят память о тех, кто 20 лет назад встал на защиту Дагестана.

Life in a Brickfield - Brickfields are locations in India where bricks are made by hand, for the local construction industry. This industry depends on the cheap migrant labour. In the state of West Bengal there are at least 12000 brickfield sites which employ an estimated six lakh people from neighbouring districts in Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha. Brick field is all about furnaces that emit fumes which are toxic to the eyes, lungs and throat. Through this photo story I tried to portray a different visual of their life that they live along with the hard core daily routine life.

The center takes in around 70 children, mostly in neglect, with severe and profound physical or intellectual disabilities and provides specialized and personalized care to try to improve their quality of life. Children with disabilities (especially girls) run a high risk of being physical, emotional and sexual abused as well as being abandoned by their families. There is a perception by their communities that the disabilities are due to a divine punishment, the result of the sins committed by the parents, of an act of the devil, or that the child is a sorcerer. Minors who suffer from a disability are considered supernatural, strangers or demons. In some areas of the country, children with cerebral palsy are known as snakes, as they lie on the ground. These little ones are drowned in the river in rituals for the serpent to leave.

In Africa these fires are a common practice all over the continent becoming one of the main environmental problems in countries like Burkina Faso. These fires are usually lit by cattle farmers as part of their traditional management of the savannahs where their animals graze. Some fires are started to stimulate new growth of nutritious grass for their animals, others are used to control the numbers of parasitic ticks or manage the growth of thorny scrub but 10% of them will end out of control. Nowadays there are more fires burning across central Africa than Amazon as global deforestation rates approach record high resulting in a huge climate crisis.

Бабки дуже красиві комахи. Назва англійською мовою Dragonfly означає літаючий дракон, що саме за себе говорить. Повітряний мисливець, головним козирем якого служить швидкість, може впевнено покладатися тільки на зір. Не дивно, що характерна риса будь-якої бабки - величезні очі на витягнутій в ширину голові. В світі існує приблизно 4500 видів бабок, у Європі можна зустріти менше 100.

On a strip of desert, long forgotten, lies a tiny ghost village lost in sand referred to either as the “ghost village” or “buried village” of Al Madam. It was once inhabited by the people of the Al Kutbi tribe, local legend holds that it was the jinns -supernatural creatures that Arabs and Muslims believe exist in a plane invisible to humans- who drove the people away from their village. There really is something in the sand here. Something creepy. Something inhospitable that invades the houses… There is something poetic too in the way nature are taken over this spot… Desertification in its pure state that swallows everything in its path. Now, an eerie silence surrounds the entire place… in between… sand, wind, heat and more sand.

В Азовському морі потрапили в полон українські моряки, періодично стаються провокації та сутички, а саме море зазнає негативного впливу через новозбудований Керченський міст. Війна може бути далеко від більшості українських міст, але не від кордону. А узбережжя Азовського моря - це кордон. Загалом туристи можуть насолоджуватись тут відпочинком. Пройти не можна лише на самий краєчок Білосарайської коси, але колючий дріт та загорожі вглиб суші де-не-де нагадують про сьогоднішню реальність.

Анатолий Анатольевич, тренирует детишек на уличной площадке по баскетболу в г.Калуга. В свои 80- лет, он приходит на площадку и прививает школьникам любовь к баскетболу,как когда-то давно полюбив этот вид спорта в далёких 60-х.
